Ertuğrul Aksoy

Ertuğrul Aksoy has specialized in employment, IT, corporate and contract law. He assists both domestic and international clients and provides comprehensive legal advice on day-to-day commercial practices of local and international clients in a range of sectors; and represents prominent clients in M&A transactions and compliance projects. Ertuğrul assists in structuring corporate documents for company incorporations, as well as helps to prepare a range of day-to-day corporate governance documents. Ertuğrul is a graduate of Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School and he holds a bachelor’s degree from Istanbul University. In 2017, he studied at Leiden University as an exchange student.  As of 2020, Ertuğrul has started his Civil Law LL.M. studies at Istanbul University. Ertuğrul is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association, and he is fluent in English.

• Drafting and revising commercial contracts and other legal documentation including service procurement and supply agreements, confidentiality agreements and additional amendment protocols in relation to day-to-day business activities of clients in numerous sectors.
• Preparation of legal due diligence reports and participation in M&A transactions, follow-up work on M&A projects, preparation of investment and restructuring documents
• Providing legal advice to software, tech and payment system provider companies on issues such as contract negotiation and regulatory compliance,
• Skilled in litigation and dispute resolution, with a focus on technology-related cases, effectively representing clients in both court and arbitration
• Expert in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing complex legal documents related to employee benefits, stock options, and equity plans.
